The AIA CA Government Relations program represents the AIA CA before the State Legislature, regulatory agencies, boards and commissions. We are the advocates of the architectural profession in the Sacramento.
Every year well over one thousand legislative bills are introduced in the Legislature, each proposing a change to existing law. Most of these bills will have no impact on the architectural profession or cause a strong reaction from architects. But some of them do.
The AIA CA has developed this page to give you a voice on those bills that may impact the architectural profession. We want to know your reaction to the bills below: should we support or oppose? Why? Can you suggest a way to improve the bill? Tell us what you think.
